Very lovely and comfortable hotel in the heart of Uppsala
The location is really good for exploring the city on foot (cathedral, castle, botanical gardens, etc). It was not super expensive as other hotels. The hotel room was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Would definitely stay there again if I go back to the city.
Breakfast could have been better but it was not bad at all. There was no hot food (scrambled eggs or bacon) but that was not exactly a problem for me as there was plenty of other food (different types of bread, etc) to eat.

What was the highlight of Best Western Uppsala
Good basic accommodation with ample breakfast.
This hotel was in the part of the city in which we needed to stay (mobility problems) and easily accessible. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts good quality and plentiful. We were not expecting frills, so suffered no disappointment from not getting them. If what is wanted is a place to come back to for sleep, and to eat in before going out in the morning, this is perfect for your needs; if what you want is a place that is fancy, this is not the place for you.
It was a little disconcerting when the grille for the shower water to flow out suddenly shifted under my feet; I nearly fell over from the startlement. However, once I knew it might happen I was able to avoid it doing so again.

Cosy hotel really in the city centre! Nice to hear the church bells.
Cosy rooms. Parking area excellent!
I observed an unpleasant detail how the table was set : serving spoons and forks were put ON the pile of food like slices of cold meet and cheese. It means that when custemers use spoons and forks they touch the food by their fingers and while releasing their grip by returning the spoon contaminate the food again! There must be space to set the utensils in between the serving plates. Breakfast room was croudy.
